The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal communities, organisations, and senior government stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to work with Community, facilitating evidence-based decision making from a community-led perspective and actively supporting delivery of the Department’s Aboriginal Outcomes Strategy.
The role also undertakes and coordinates the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation projects using a range of approaches and methodologies. Where needed, the role may be called on to manage evaluation activities for programs and projects of the Corporate and Performance group, and the DRNSW portfolio. The Senior Project Officer leads program evaluation activities and conducts performance reporting for the Aboriginal Outcomes Team.
